About Us
This company is owned and operated by Lawrence Weglarz, a retired Police Officer of 28 years and US Army Veteran. Lawrence saw many defendants, a lot of veterans, attend Veterans Court or a comparable court program to get their case dismissed. Once dismissed the defendant thought their case would no longer be held against them, only to find they were wrong. The case will not disappear unless sealed or expunged. This prompted Lawrence to create a company where records can be sealed or expunged at a reasonable rate. Our attorneys are well rated and experienced. They provide their portion at a large discount as they too believe in the cause. In the case of veterans, they waive their costs.
Mission Statement:
To improve the lives and opportunities of those who are haunted by criminal histories which may be eligible to be sealed or expunged.
What We Do:
We seal or expunge eligible records in the Tampa Bay Area, Florida, at very competitive costs. All eligible veterans and 1 st responders get a substantial discount.
How it works:
First we determine if the candidate and charge is eligible. If so, we will complete paperwork for the appropriate State Attorney’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). After the packet is complete it is mailed to FDLE who makes the decision whether the record can be sealed or expunged. If so, we receive a certificate of eligibility. Then our staff Attorney creates a petition and court order to be submitted to the appropriate court/Judge. If all is acceptable the Judge will issue a court order to seal or expunge the record. This order will be filed with the arresting Police Agency, local data base, State data base, and national data base thereby removing the record from public view.
